Hughie Fury vs Joseph Parker to be shown live on YouTube with fight fans to be charged £9.99 for world title clash

Hughie Fury’s world heavyweight title clash against Joseph Parker will be broadcast exclusively live on YouTube.

Fight fans in the UK will be charged £9.99 to watch the fight for the WBO strap at Manchester Arena on September 23.

Fury’s promoter Hennessy Sports announced the partnership with YouTube which is the first of its kind.

A portion of the undercard will be shown for free prior to the main event, with viewers able to purchase at the advance offer price until midnight on September 17.

“We’ve been talking to YouTube for months about bringing boxing to a wider audience through their platform, and are delighted to have found a way to achieve this.

“The way TV viewing is consumed has altered rapidly in the last few years and we wanted to be at the forefront of that change in presenting this fight.

Fury himself is excited at the number of people that could potentially watch the scrap on the platform.

“This is great news for fight fans who can now watch my world heavyweight title challenge against Parker exclusively live on YouTube in the UK and Ireland,” he said.
